It was my belief that discipline, and order were the key elements to developing a successful company. Edith Tiencken taught me that the real element to successful leadership is based on being true to your values, your principles, your competencies and above all true to people and their attitudes. Edith showed me the way to strategic communication, to think of timely and assertive communication and to accept others’ ideas and use these ideas to complement my knowledge. I now believe my collaborators good intentions oriented me towards many different elements of success in an organization. I am grateful that life placed Edith on my path. Today I have a mentor, I have support, I have a backup, I have a mirror to reflect on, but above all, I have a friend who taught me the meaning of loyalty and trust.
